We're still looking for a RIB captain
Guest User
Over the past few years we've had a regular volunteer who was happy to come down and drive a RIB each Saturday. Last season you will recall Adrian who fled the home country and enjoyed Saturday afternoons eating a toastie on the deck then he drove the Paul Adam around the harbour, keeping an eye on us all. Occasionally he helped with a rescue.
Adrian has returned home to crap food and balmy 7 degree summer days, but will be escaping the worst of the northern hemisphere winter and will be rejoining us in February! Stock the canteen! Good stuff.
But we are still on the lookout for another RIB driver. Qualifications are minimal:
- Boat licence (or willingness to get one)
- Reliable
- A Hat (we'll lend you one)
What could be finer than cruising the harbour in our RIB? We'll even lend you a hat
Do you know anyone who might want to help out from 1pm on Saturdays? Doesn't have to be every week, we'll take all offers.
If you do, please drop a note to Michael; vice.commodore@dbsc.com.au
