PRO David Airey reports:
Saturday was warm and pleasant on the Harbour, but the wind remained in the winter pattern, light and gusty from the West. Despite the forecast for light winds, about 30 sailors went out for the holiday weekend sprints, with notably the Standard rigs having the most starters. We got 5 races away with close fought contests in the Standard fleet who were very enthusiastic at the starts. The gusty conditions provided challenging conditions and particularly near the windward mark after it was moved close to Clark Island. Many thanks to the on-water team of Ryan Aldrich, Stephen Reid and Scott Finlayson and two visitors from Bermuda who helped with course setting and mark moving.
