1. How old were you when you first stepped on a boat? When I first stepped on a boat it was my uncle’s 33ft SeaRay motor cruiser when I was about 11, then did a competence certificate at the RYA aged 15 for small boats, and the first time I went on sailing yacht was in 2005 at a work regatta in the Isle of Wight, UK. On moving to Sydney in 2006 I learned to sail properly, and did my first Sydney to Hobart on DHL in 2007. Few more miles covered since then... decided to try Lasers a few years ago for a change.

2. If money (and sailing ability) were no limit, what boat would you buy? With no limits... would probably buy a J Class classic yacht or a new Laser.

3. What is your ultimate sailing goal? To have fun!

4. Tell us the story behind the name of your Laser? Maclaren is named after the sponsor from the first regatta it sailed in years ago.

5. If you could add any ingredient to DBSC's world’s best toasties – what would it be? Tabasco sauce.

6. What are your second/third favourite hobbies (assuming sailing is #1)? Mmm tough one, second favourite windsurfing, third favourite tied between coastal walking / bike riding.

7. Describe what you do for work in less than five words? GM Finance @ Lendlease

8. What is the first international destination you will travel to (once we're allowed) and why? UK / France to see my family.

9. What is your favourite TV show, movie, and/or book? Movie: Amelie. Book: The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, Ronald Dahl. TV show: Below Deck (guilty pleasure!)

10. Tell us something interesting about yourself that members of the club don’t know? I studied in France before moving to Aus and wanted to be a journalist / sports reporter for Formula 1.
