Boat Licence Course
Jules Hall
We're always looking for licensed boat drivers to assist with COTD and Rescue Boat duties. If you don't have a licence, but have always wanted one, fear not. Mike Gentry is putting this wrong to rights. And DBSC is offering a cash incentive...
THE PROGRAM
Mike will coordinate a date for the onshore and practical training day. Likely a Sunday in October. On completion of the course you will then need to head along to an RMS centre and sit the online exam. Pass that and you get the licence.
THE DEAL
The practical course will cost $200 per person.
However, for everyone that gets a licence (i.e. completes the practical course & passes the online exam) and who agrees to offer their services for COTD duties at DBSC, the club will reimburse you 50% of the practical course costs ($100). It's the cheapest boat licence in Sydney.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO NOW
If you're interested, please email laserrep@dbsc.com.au by Sat 27 August and your details will be passed to Mike.
