ut pro tubulis
Webmaster
As the People's Prince declared at the recently held 60th Congress, Dene Bergman, the boat and not the legend, will be having tubal work. The 18s are paying for half the work, and DBSC is paying for other half.
Clearly, many DBSCers are in awe as to how cheap their annual subscriptions are and how badly the Australian government spends the taxes paid to them. The solution is to make a tax-deductible contribution to DBSC: help your club; pay less tax; and, stop wasteful government expenditure.
If you can afford to help, Troublemaker helpfully has given us a guide to tax effectively contributing (this is the distillation of the 100 page pitch book his work grunts produced on Sunday morning):
The ASF donation page is https://asf.org.au/organisation/double-bay-sailing-club-incorporated/
People can donate on that page to one of four funds:
1. General purpose DBSC fund -- this can be used by us for any purpose and is the preferred method for everything other than high performance development. Donate to this by clicking on the "make a tax deductible donation" button near the top of the web page
2. Facility upgrade fund -- separate section at the bottom of the web page
3. High performance development fund -- separate section at the bottom of the web page
4. Equipment upgrade fund -- separate section at the bottom of the web page.
Alternatively, if you cannot afford to contribute more and have yet to pay the now-overdue annual fees, we ask you at least pay your annual fees now. If you have problems, in paying the annual fees, please contact commodore@dbsc.com.au or secretary@dbsc.com.au
